So, the day before I got my wife bought me the Electric Propagator I’d actually picked up a bog standard normal Windowsill Propagator, not for an experiment or anything, I didn’t even realise what it was properly – I just thought it’d be good for putting some more seeds in and didn’t see it had a lid until I got home. I was in the garage earlier, and I saw it staring at me. Feeling all sorry for itself that it had no seeds to grow for me… Well, what else could I do?
I decided to give it’s life some meaning, a reason to carry on… Felt like the right thing to do!
Fortunately, I had some seeds that I’d bought and not planted, the shock and horror of it all! I know! Unfortunately I didn’t have the 36 different types of seeds I needed to fill this, so, there was some repeats of others and I always threw in a few other things as well
So, what went in this time I hear you ask?
Well, from the back, left to right we have…
Aubergine, Habenero, Yellow Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, Black Ops 005, Two lots of Butch T Choc, Madball Choc X, Chenzo, Trinidad Scorpion, Ancho Grande, Jati Jolokia, Numex Twilight and Cayenne (Thick)
Carolina Reaper, Datil, Demon Red, Basket of Fire, Maules Red Hot, Tobasco, Pasilla Bajio and Chocolate Bhut Jolokia
Cumin, ?, Maddballz Choc X, Pimenta Trepadeira do Werner, Scotch Bonnet, Black Ops 005, Bhut Orange Copenhagen, Royal Black, Jamaican Red, Mulato Isleno, Purple Jalapeño and Thai Dragon
I didn’t plant 5 seeds in each like I normally do on this occasion. For one I already have a load of plants growing after quite a high germination rate, I’ve got the Electric Propagator still, uhm, propagating (?) – So, I just went with two seeds in each cell this time. Well. Mostly, some got three if I slipped, or, if I thought I’d buried one a bit deep with my club fingers.

A little mystery packet… I’m not adverse to a mystery, I had quite a good one last year as well so I thought “Meh” and planted them, see what grows. Keep things interesting 😉
So, that’s another good load of seeds planted. I’m thinking that, that might be it for this year. Or, probably not – See what grows out of this lot, I’ve still not got some of the ones I want actually growing yet.
I’ve got a spare windowsill upstairs. Uhm. In our bedroom… It gets good light and is above a radiator, so, lots of heat as well.
It’s a good job I’ve got an understanding wife at times! 😉
