I had the week off work.
I was pretty much left to my own devices.
Which, to be fair, is dangerous at the best of times.
My better half wanted me to go to Tesco for whatever reason.

Obviously, I saw this as a nothing but an excuse to buy new things for my new hobby…

SHopHonestly. I don’t know what I was thinking with the Watering can come Sprayer, but, it was mine all the same. Along with it I bought some plant label things and 20 seed pots.

Time to find some seeds…

SeedsSo, one Scotch Bonnet and one Bhut Jolokia (AKA Naga, Ghost Chilli) deseeded later…

potted

I took ten seeds from each and planted them.
What else was I going to do?

I didn’t put them in the Greenhouse straight away, I put them in my airing cupboard. This was some old advice I had stuck in my head, I didn’t really realise at the time that was irrelevant now. I sort of knew it, but, it didn’t quite sink in.

Old school airing cupboards would of course get warm with the boiler. As modern boilers are much more efficient these days, this wouldn’t apply.

I let them live there all the same…

Now, the waiting game…

In other news, in the garage I found a plant trough thing…

troughThis looks like the perfect excuse to try growing something else…

(I feel I should point out that the “Meerkat Welcomes” thing is shoved in a corner, at the back of a garage well out of sight. It’s something that our Landlords left in the back garden and I decided to put in the place it deserved…)
